Brooke and Zach have run Toasty together since October of 2019. (See above, our first food trailer, a 1948 Monarch that Brooke and her dad found in Idaho for less than 3k! 10 months later, it was fully built out into a food truck and open for business at the Podski)

At the start, Toasty served various avocado toasts, tacos, bowls and a breakfast burrito. It wasn’t until the nacho crunchwrap was added to the menu in 2020 that business really took off.
​
Toasty has won multiple awards including the sources "Best of Central Oregon" award for "Best food truck" in 2023 and "Best vegan food" in the same year. 2025 was our third year in a row winning “Best vegan” of Central Oregon. For the last few years, our best seller has been our Nacho Crunchwrap but we are also known for various other crunchwrap flavors, our giant burritos, and our fresh and flavorful bowls.

Toasty’s ultimate mission is to promote compassion within our community for all living beings. We believe it is our responsibility to do as little harm as possible to the animals, the environment, and each other.

We know that serving a 100% plant-based menu will leave our customers feeling energized and satisfied. We celebrate the opportunity to feed our community food made entirely of plants, which has shown to provide various health benefits including reducing one’s risk of certain cancers, heart disease, diabetes and obesity.
We love our earth and strive to give our customers the opportunity to do as little harm as possible to the environment whenever they eat at Toasty. We know that eating a plant-based diet reduces our carbon footprint and helps conserve water and land resources. By simply eating living, colorful, delicious plant-based foods we know we can all become better versions of ourselves, knowing we are a part of the solution and not the problem.

We could go on and on about the benefits of vegan eating when it comes to our health and to the environment but let's not forget the main reason we do what we do. We do this for the animals. Brooke wants everyone to know that Toasty is apart of a fight against animal cruelty. It is Toasty's main goal to help as many people as possible realize that eating animals is completely unnecessary. It is possible to live in a more peaceful way by simply choosing to keep animals off your plate. Toasty thanks everyone who is fighting for animal liberation and is committed to doing their part.
